Congratulations Nico, yet another excellent review, love your "evidence-based" approach. My own personal experience after 3 years of foiling is that it has literally doubled my sessions and they are so much more fun, as you don't even lose speed in the lulls. It gave me a new challenge after 30 years in the sport and I now look more forward to those lighter wind days to enjoy cruising on the foil. Your advice is spot on, absolutely agree. Keep them coming and keep those foiling events coming as well!

I am of the opinion that fpv drones are the future of watching all sports. We need better batteries and streaming compression and encoding, better transmission protocols, then use the new 360 8k cams, and we could have the best live streaming video for all sports. Action sports will become far more popular, and viewership will go through the roof. I'm sad that intel's real-time point-cloud streaming is far away from being viable, but that is also a technology that will completely evolve sports. Having a holographic display of a football match on your table while using XR glasses will be amazing!

Honestly, i have been windsurfing for over a decade, but i'm still struggling a bit with the power jibe. I've heard all the advice from your earlier videos from locals, but not this point of actively bringing your sail forwards after switching. Most tips focus on the jibe before switching the sail (speed, balance, opening sail gradually, when to switch etc), however this sounds so logical. My board indeed tends to turn towards the wind after switching, gonna try this on my next session!

To me the key to waterstarting was realizing you need to use your legs to pull the board under you. The arms can't do much.
